InterimDirector of Nursing Prime Time Healthcare is looking for an accomplished Interim Director of Nursing for an assignment in Independence, OR.
The DON will help coordinate and supervise all nursing activities within a Skilled Nursing Facility.

The ideal Director of Nursing will have a background as a diligent and compassionate registered nurse, progressively honing their managerial and administrative capabilities.

Job Duties Plan and coordinate patient care and patient care plans Define standard of nursing and assess quality of care being administered Initiate development of policies and procedures Verify employee credentials Plan, develop, and implement a budget for staffing needs Make rounds and periodic spot checks of condition of patients Investigate complaints and take corrective action as needed Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Readiness to stay updated on evolving standards in nursing administration, excellent talent for leading and nurturing staff, strong communication and interpersonal abilities and exceptional organizational and stress-handling skills Active RN license in OR At least 2 years of experience in a SNF/LTC setting Up to date TB test, physical and BLS/CPR Benefits Health, dental, vision insurance and HSA 401k with 4% match Covered compliance costs $750 referral bonus Dedicated Travel team The Joint Commission certified company Job Type:
